Each template is structured as a Knowledge-Skills-Abilities (KSA) rubric, with separate weighted buckets for domain knowledge, hands-on skills, and behavioral abilities, so you can tune the screening criteria to the role you actually need to fill.

Yes. Every knowledge label, skill label, ability label, and its weight is editable on the per-template page before you run a screen. Once you've tightened the rubric to match your role and shop, send it to Scout and we'll score your applicant stack against it — with every claim cited to a line in the résumé.

Do the templates cover trade-specific certifications like EPA 608 or Master Plumber License?

Yes. Each template surfaces the licenses and certifications that matter for that trade and weights them into the score: EPA 608 and NATE for HVAC, Master Plumber License or journeyman card for plumbing, and store-ops KPIs (sales per square foot, shrink, scheduling) for retail manager. Scout scores each cert against the résumé with a citation, so you can see exactly which line earned the points.
